THIRSTY BSTRD
Thirsty Bstrd — the alias of Julien Surdeau — is a French visual artist, born in 1987 in Paris, where he still lives today.
A self-taught creator, he uses the codes of urban art (stencils, spray paint, stickers, videos) to craft work that is both irreverent and rich in references.
Thirsty Bstrd stands out as a contemporary voice in French urban art, not only because he masters the visual language of street art, but above all because he uses it to question our relationship with consumption and imagery. He reinvents the field of “visual appropriation” with precision, humor, and striking visual impact. His work bridges popular culture and critical discourse, making it both accessible and thought-provoking.
